Birdy Num Num

Here are a couple of cute birdy pictures submitted by a friend.

I don't think this little birdy used enough sunblock.

We don't know where the rest of the pigeon is, but I bet he wants his foot back!

Street Pizza Lives! A Rat for the Ages.

I am back to providing you with (fairly) recently dead things found on the street! I met the fellow above at Broadway and 7th. From his condition I think he had been knocked around that busy intersection before coming to rest near the side of the road. Was he a rat? The mystery is part of the wonder of this blog!

I apologize for my long absence. Now that the weather is getting better (I hope?), I will be out and about, finding many rotting things for your gruesome fancy. I also just got a slick new camera phone, so I will always be able to capture "the moment" when it strikes... or is struck!

Saab Story

A fresh new wreck on my street corner. It doesn't look too bad, except that this is a front wheel drive car -- yep, TOTALLED.

I got some criticism for the seagull -- no sign of technology intersecting and all that. Well this has no sign of life. So there! I'll put whatever I want here -- its MY BLOG!

I just dont know.

I can only tell that it was once alive, it was hit by a car and it really stunk.

Beach Pizza.

I didn't let a rainy weekend ruin my trip to the beach. Not with all the wonderful dead things that washed up on shore. Look at all the beautiful internal structures in this seagull. I had to shoo away 'a murder of crows' to take this picture. It's pretty obvious where that phrase came from.

Aw, look, he's sleeping...

... No, he isn't.

Sunbather.

This rat (?) seems to be enjoying the fine weather. He has stretched out on his back and even has a morsel of food nearby in case he feels a little peckish. But he should really put some sunblock on that tail. It is in terrible shape.
